Protein PSL

Happy Halloween! I saved the best for last, Pumpkin Spiced Lattes! I used to get them every year until I researched the ingredients after I was left with a stomach ache. The sugar, the dairy and the ingredients I couldn't even pronounce. oh my! So I did some trial and error and came out with something even better, pumpkin and protein!


What you will need:

250 ml Unsweetened Vanilla Almond milk

30 grams Organika Bovine Gelatin

50 grams Pure Pumpkin puree

1 tsp Pumpkin Pie spice

A dash of Cinnamon and pure Vanilla Extract

Pure Stevia to taste


One pot stop:

Heat your almond milk up on your stovetop and add your ingredients slowly while whisking. Once mixed well, remove from heat and blend for 30 seconds (My magic bullet works the best). The combination of the blender and gelatin make this latte super creamy and thick, almost like desert!

Note: This recipe doesn't have coffee included, since I am not a caffeine drinker. To make a true latte, cut the recipe in half and mix in your favourite brewed coffee:)


Serves 1

162 Calories, 4g Carbs, 28g Protein, 3g Fat (I don't usually add the sugar but it's less than ONE GRAM. Save your sugar for real food)
